Oahu Air Tour - Hawaii Sailplane Ride Adventures

Sailplane Ride Adventures is one of only two commercial glider ride operations in Hawaii. All pilots are FAA certified in flight experience and licensing and take pride in providing high quality flight training and sailplane rides. Hawaiifs steady trade winds and beautiful weather provide one of the worlds best places for soaring, glider pilots can stay aloft all day from a 1,000ft tow about 90% of the year.

Your Scenic Tour will take you along Oahufs world famous North Shore to Waimea Bay with views of the lush Waianae Mountains, rugged cliffs, coral reefs, and breaking surf. Depending on the tour length and weather conditions you can see most of the island. A 20-minute tour soars to 3,000 feet and a full 60-minute tour soars to 5,000 feet where you can virtually see the entire island (based on weather conditions).

You may further specialize your experience and choose to Add-on one or both of the following options:

• Acrobatics Ride Add-on: You can spice up your scenic tour and add-on a 5 minutes aerial acrobatics ride. Strap on a parachute and climb into the cockpit alongside an experienced aerobatics instructor as take a look at the world from a whole new perspective, up side down! You call the shots, mild or wild and decide how many aerobatic maneuvers and what kind of ride you want. *available for one passenger at a time.
• Golden Eagle Introductory Flying Lesson Add-on: Available for anyone who has ever dreamed of flying, you can add-on a introductory flying lesson to your scenic tour. Your introductory flight will be with an experienced FAA certified sailplane instructor and youfll be able to choose how much of the flying youfd like to do. Youfll learn how the controls work and basic flying maneuvers. For your records, your certified instructor will log your flight on a complimentary logbook sheet. *available for one passenger at a time.
• Combo Tour Add-on: Experience it all and add on both an Acrobatics Ride and Flying Lesson to your Scenic Tour!
