Kipu Ranch is a 3,000-acre property
extending from the Huleia River to the top of the Haupu Mountains. It's the site of many movies such as Raiders
of the Lost Arc, Outbreak, Six Days & Seven Nights, Mighty Joe
Young, Hook,
Jurassic Park, and more. |

Experience the wonderful aroma of various tropical flora and fruit trees like
mango, guava, papaya, rose apples, breadfruit and Java plum.
Travel through tropical fern grottos and bamboo forests and learn about
the many Hawaiian medicinal plants in the area. Birds and other wildlife may also be spotted throughout the
tour.
Prior to the tour you will be taught to
use the ATV, then given some time to practice. The tour begins when everyone is comfortable and prepared. A second instruction is done after a short ride to prepare the guest for
riding on uneven ground. Helmets
and safety glasses are provided. |

Ranch/Mountain Adventure (3
hours):
A beautiful and breathtaking 3-hour scenic tour through Kipu Ranch.
Take a ride through tropical forests, river valleys, and rolling
pastures. The ranch is also home to hundreds of head of Hereford,
Angus and Brangus cattle as well as wild pigs,
Nene geese, pheasant, and much more. Your guides will
also share some history with you about the ranch and island and even movie
sights! Light snacks and beverages are served. |

Waterfalls Picnic Adventure (4
hours):
Explore Kipu Ranch on 4-hour waterfalls tour!
You will be
taken to two waterfalls and a swimming hole where you can jump in and cool
off. The diverse landscape makes this ride a little more challenging
and exciting. The unique trails on this tour take you from cool
forest roads across lush green pastures to mountainside trails. Be
sure to bring your camera! A delicious lunch with your choice of
sandwich is included. *This adventure
includes short but steep hikes on uneven ground. |

Honda AT 400 ATV |
ATV: (Single Rider
- Must be at least 16 years old with a valid picture ID) The new
Honda AT 400 ATV is our choice for the best ATV available for this kind of
terrain and tour. The powerful 400cc engine gets you up the steep mountain
trails and the fully automatic transmission makes it easy to operate. The AT
400 also has push-button on/off select 4 wheel drive for the slippery spots
on our tours. The lower ground clearance wide wheel base makes this machine
more stable that the smaller ATVs that many companies use for their tours. |
Bomber |
Bomber: (Driver AND
rider must be 18 years old) The Bombardier Outlander Max is the premiere
2 person ATV and was chosen "ATV of the Year" by ATV Magazine. Great for
couples. Fully automatic with on/off select 4 wheel drive it provides very
comfortable independent suspension. The passenger enjoys an elevated rear
seat with backrest and independent handholds. Must be 18 years old to drive
or ride as a passenger. |
660c Yamaha Rhino |
Rhino: (Driver
must be 21 years old): The 660cc Yamaha Rhino, featuring 2 passenger
side-by-side seating, is an incredibly comfortable ride and a favorite for
couples. Fully automatic transmission with on/off select push button 4 wheel
drive and 4 wheel independent suspension makes this machine all ATV but
drives like a car. Bucket seats and a steering wheel makes this Rhino simple
to drive and safer than an ATV. Book ahead - the Rhinos almost always
book up early. This is a good parent/child vehicle, but the driver
must be 21 and related to underage passengers. |
Kawasaki Mule |
Mule: (Guide driven
and up to 3 passengers)
This
guide-driven 3 passenger Kawasaki Mule is great for the kids or for anyone
who would rather watch the scenery than the road. The guide is on board and
can answer questions along the way. The Mule is also a great way to take
pictures on the move and it has front and rear seats that make sure you aren't
too crowded. It is still an ATV, so you will get bounced around a bit and
get a little dirty (sometimes a lot dirty), and you will still need to wear
a helmet. Helmets, goggles and bandannas are provided. |
Rhino Safari |
Rhino Safari: (1
Driver and up to 3 passengers) This 4 passenger side-by-side
seating ATV comes equipped with fully automatic transmission with on/off
select push button 4 wheel drive and 4 wheel independent suspension. Bucket
seats and a steering wheel makes this Rhino simple to drive and safer than
an ATV. This is an ideal family vehicle and the driver must be 21 and
related to underage passengers. The back seat is perfect for up to 2
children and they each must weigh 100lbs or less. |

*Guests 16-17 years old must have a parent sign their liability waiver to drive an ATV.
