by trade, Lee Michael and Renata Walczuk share their love of the "'aina" (land), offering you a discovery and experience that you can ONLY find

the Big Island of Hawaii. Tours are private, flexible and catered to
your specific tastes and capabilities. Among several other stops
for island food specialties, a non-hosted lunch stop will be made for all
tours.
Tours
include a minimum of 100 digital images provided on a high resolution CD, as
well as posted images via the web for viewing and proofing.

Hilo Town & Hamakua Coast: Before entering the gorgeous Hamakua Coast, cruise
by Hilo's sea turtle inhabited black sand beach, the serene Lili'uokalani Gardens behind
Banyan Circle Drive, the Tsunami Memorial and the Vietnam Memorial's Eternal Flame,
Old Hilo Town's vintage shops,
cafes and farmer's market, ice pond and the statue of the late King Kamehameha
the Great. Take this time to enjoy Old Hilo Town as it's slow to change and positively
reluctant to surrender its hometown charm and bayside personality.
The beautiful
Hamakua Coast offers a scenic route from one of Hawaii's most breathtaking
highways. See Onomea Bay, the "Sleeping lady," a
vintage sugar village of Wailea, the brackish bay of Kolekole Park,
and the famous 420 foot Akaka Falls! |

Volcanoes National Park: Make your way to Hawaii Volcanoes
National Park! At a cool 4000 foot elevation, the native Hawaiian
forest offers so many trails, stories and interesting scientific facts!
Your closest experience to being on the moon, take a tour around
Kilauea Crater and and see its steam and sulfur vents and maybe even
Madame Pele herself at the Halema'uma'u Crater edge. Visit the
Hawaiian Volcano Observatory and the
Dr. Jagger Museum for some historical narration and interesting exhibits.
Take a walk through a Lava Tube beginning an enchanted hike
through this rainforest and native bird sanctuary. Visit an island
Orchid Farm, the famous Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Farm and the
Volcano Winery for tasting (optional) ... don't worry you won't have
to drive. |

Lava Flow Tour & Hike: Breathe the pristine ionized air and take a
warm dip in the volcanically heated Ahalanui pools (91-95
degrees), See the hot surf spot of
Isaac Hale Beach Park and continue along the scenic red cinder road
passing lava stretches, gigantic waves, awesome tunnel like flora, fauna
and tropical trees. Coming upon the once a quaint fishing village, now
buried in molten rock, see and learn the history of Kalapana and
Hawaii's newest black sand beach. Take a 1/2 mile hike to an active a'a
lava flow and stand face to face with red Madame Pele to make your
offerings to the Goddess of Fire. |
