ATV Outfitters Hawaii Staff

ATV Outfitters Hawaii offers historical scenic guided tours riding through private ranchlands, along the edge of spectacular sea cliffs, lush tropical rainforests and historical sites. It's very exciting and very cultural as their guides explain the history about the areas that you ride through. Their adventures include several stops at points of interest to give riders photo opportunities and past/present information about the area.

All guests are first registered at our headquarters, then provided helmets, gloves and goggles. Guests are then transported to the ATV barn where each rider will be riding their own user friendly, fully automatic All Terrain Vehicle. At the ATV barn, they are given an ATV safety operating instruction, taken on a safety course and then if the riders are all comfortable they then go on the trail.

Historical Ocean Cliff Trail (1.5 Hours)
Ocean Cliff Trail	Cruise towering ocean cliffs and mountain streams and touch the ocean at a remote private pebbled beach on this guided historical adventure! This is a very scenic adventure in pristine *North Kohala* - Hidden Hawaii. Your professional guides will stop and share significant history along your journey while you enjoy breathtaking scenery. Riding and controlling our ATVs is simple and tons of fun! Everyone is taught proper riding techniques. No previous riding experience is necessary.

15-Mile Waterfall Adventure Ride (2 Hours)
Waterfall Adventure Ride	Ride through the *Kohala Rainforest*, rich in tropical beauty, history and culture, and visit a private secluded waterfall! Traverse through brisk mountain streams and enter a rainforest filled with native Hawaiian trees and canopies of ferns and flowers. Then, hike to a private secluded waterfall. Your guide will paint a historical picture of the rich culture in the area. A visual rush of panoramic collages makes this a driving experience to remember.

22-Mile Deluxe Kohala Tour (3 Hours)
Kohala Coast Ride	This tour combines the Ocean Cliff and Waterfall tour. Your ride will be filled with spectacular views from start to finish. Ride along the beautiful Kohala Coastline, cruising on top of 200 foot majestic ocean cliff sides. Continue your journey to a secluded bay where there is a charming view of a 1930's lighthouse. Next you will travel high into the mountains through a cool eucalyptus rainforest, and over brisk mountain streams. Then you will make your way to some breathtaking waterfalls on your venture across the oldest volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii. The native Hawaiian guides will share the genuine history of this splendid island.

Important Notices:

- To drive your own ATV you must be at least 16 years old (valid identification required upon check-in) and weigh between 90-300lbs. If you are unable to provide proof of age, you will NOT be able to drive your own ATV and you will still be charged for a FULL seat.

- To drive a tandem ATV with a passenger, you must be at least 25 years old.

- To ride-along as a passenger with a friend or family member on a tandem ATV, you must be at least 12 years old and weigh at least 85lbs.

- Ride-along passenger weight may not exceed the weight of the driver. The total combined weight of both the driver and the ride-along passenger may not exceed 350lbs.

- Children between 7-11 years old must ride-along as a passenger with a guide from ATV Outfitters Hawaii.

- A parent or legal guardian must participate in the tour with anyone under the age of 18 years old.

-Maximum tour sizes are (18) people for the Historical Ocean Cliff Tour and (12) people for the others.

Cancellation Policy: Any cancellations made within 24 hours of the activity start time will be subject to a(n) 100% charge.
